MRS. E.M. CRONE
Mrs. Edna Mae Crone, 55, Bentonville, died Aug. 24 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 11, 1922, at Hoopup, Colo., she was the daughter of George and Triecie Mallbie Hammons, a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church in Bentonville and an employe of Tyson's. She had lived in Bentonville for 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Crone, of the home; two sons, Dale Crone, stationed with the U.S. Army, Ft. Riley, Kan., and John Crone, Bentonville; four daughters, Mrs. Geneva King, Bentonville, Mrs. Mary Neil, Rogers, Mrs. Pauline Stoops, Waynesboro, Pa., and Mrs. Betty Ferguson, Texas; her mother of Bentonville; three stepbrothers, Forrest Hammons of Nebraska, John Hammons and Joy Hammons of Oklahoma; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Central Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Barron Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
