CENTERTON — James Albert Hollis, Jr., 71, of Centerton passed away September 17, 2009 in Springdale. He was born February 19, 1938 in Little Rock, AR, the son of James Albert Hollis, Sr. and Opal (Bryan) Hollis.

He was a welder for Pacific Rolling Door. He was a member of the Metal Trades Union for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Beverly Frederickson and his wife, C'Laine (Pickett) Hollis on October 5, 2008.

He is survived by three sons, Johnny Darrell Hollis of Williams, AZ, David Alan Hollis of Van Buren, AR and James Michael Hollis of Springdale, AR; his daughter, Cindy Anderson of Decatur, AR; eight grandchildren, including Roxanne Ebbers and three great-grandchildren, including Mikaela Ebbers.

Visitation will be from 6 -7 p.m., Monday, September 21 at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 22 at Gamble Cemetery in Centerton with Pastor Howard Novasky officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd, Springdale, AR 72762. Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in downtown Rogers. Online condolences may he made at www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.

CENTERTON — C'Laine Hollis, 67, of Centerton died Oct. 5, 2008, at Springdale. She was born Oct. 14, 1940, in Lampassas, Texas, to Chester Harrison Pickett and Iva Clorine Wilson.

She was a member of New Life Christian Church in Centerton and enjoyed crafts, attending craft fairs and movies. She was a medical assistant.

Survivors include her husband, James Hollis of the home; three sons, Johnny Darrell Hollis and David Alan Hollis, both of Williams, Ariz., and James Michael Hollis of Springdale; her daughter, Cindy Anderson of Decatur; four brothers, Brian Pickett of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., Gordon Wayne Pickett of Nevada and Roy Fair and Jay Fair, both of Seligman, Mo.; eight grandchildren including Roxanne Anderson; three great-grandchildren including Mikaela Addison.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Ronnie Swadley officiating.

Burial will follow in Gamble Cemetery at Centerton.

Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for Breast Cancer, c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers.
