January 23, 1936 - December 1, 2011
Nell Meredith, age 75, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011. She was born January 23, 1936, in Oil Trough, Arkansas, a daughter of Willie Misenheimer and Merner Lee Lawson Misenheimer. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired custodian for the Perryville Public Schools.
Survivors include her son, Buddy (Dawn) Meredith of Boonville; daughter, Julie Doughty of Perryville; three sisters, Genny Ives, Peg Smiley, and Martha Wheeler; three brothers, Smokey Misenheimer, Jimmy Dale, and Lonnie Misenheimer; six grandchildren, Melissa (Glen) Brandon, Joseph (Misty) Doughty, Terri (Greg) Marcum, Chris (Melissa) Doughty, Brenda (Travis) Yonnes, and Brad (Jennifer) Woolever; eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler (Jamie) Sibley, Dustin, Garrett and Kaylee Sibley, Christian, Kyler, and Braydon Gossett, Jackson Marcum, Brandon and Taylor Yonnes and Jada Woolever; three great-great-grandchildren, Whitney Cooper, Alexis Oden, and Cross Sibley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathleen Meredith and a grandson, Joel D. Jones.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at Perryville Cemetery with Joseph Doughty officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, at the funeral home in Perryville. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville.
