The Morning Star and Highfill communities were shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Mrs. Albert Mearse Tuesday morning. Funeral serveices were conducted by Rev. R.S. Hayden of Bentonville at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the home in Morning Star. As per her own request she was laid to rest beside her father in the Highfill cemetery. Sarah Monday was born at Fayetteville, Tenn. Oct. 11, 1895 and departed this life at 1 a.m. Nov. 10, 1931, just eighteen years from the date of her mother's death. A member of the Methodist church since early childhood she was always a faithful worker and shining example of a helpful and happy christian life. She was married to Albert Mearse September 26, 1919. she is survived by her husband and three children: Marcella, Janice and Gertie Jo; also three sisters and three brothers: Miss Minnie Monday of Bentonville, Mrs. J.O. Bryant of Highfill, Mrs. J.C. Lovell, J. W. and Jim Monday of Vivian, La. and W. R. Monday of Ventura, Calif.
