Miss Evie Lee Dearing, known as Aunt Evie, 82, died at the Crestpark Nursing Home in Forrest City Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. Her death cane suddenly and unexpectly.
She was born December 2, 1890, in Wynne and was the daughter of Luiza Hill Dearing and Benjamin Franklin Dearing. She had spent most of her life in the Newcastle Community.
She was a Baptist and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at Wynne.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Miller Dearing of Forrest City and Mrs. Buford Dearing of Wynne.
Funeral services will be at the New Hope Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Allen Powers and Rev. C. N. Edge in charge. Burial will follow in the Dearing Cemetery, near Wynne. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
