December 18, 1926 - January 16, 2007
Mr Dearing was born in Wynne, the son of Buford and Katie Aleno (Knight) Dearing. He married Mary Jane Hamilton on December 22, 1951.
He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, serving a total of 9 years in the Army Air Corps. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Anaconda Wire Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son: Norman Kenneth Dearing; four brothers: Carl Dearing, Troy Dearing, Leon Dearing and his twin brother Wayne "Whitey" Dearing; three sisters: Joy Hall, Pauline Murphy and Leona Hubbard.
Blackie is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Suttie and husband Michael, Linda Williams and husband Thomas; one brother: Donald Dearing; six grandchildren: Jason Suttie, Janie Suttie, Daniel Suttie, Cory Suttie, Mari Williams and Kenneth Williams.
The family requests memorials be sent to the Cross County Veterans or the American Cancer Society.
