Phyllis Drook Pippin, age 72, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008 in a Batesville hospital. Born on April 13, 1935 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles Drook and Minnie Alice Cole Drook.
She was retired from Marietta Electronics and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include three sons, James Ivan Pippin of Houston, TX, Arthur Franklin Pippin of Winder, GA and Thomas Ray Pippin of Orlando, FL; one daughter, Tammy Lee Hill of Newport, AR; one brother, Jimmy Drook of Clearwater, FL; one sister, Mary Alice Collins of West Palm, FL; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bill Drook, Charles Drook and Herbert Drook and one sister, Nettie Miller.
Services are Friday, March 7, 2:00 p.m., at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Father Stan Swiderski officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation is Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m.
