The Calico Rock Progress, Calico Rock, Arkansas, December 7, 1961:
Mrs. Martha Ann Loy was born November 9th 1866 and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. L. Reese in Borger, Texas, November 28th, 1961 at the age of 95 years and 19 days.
She had lived at Forty-Four, Arkansas until the last 6 years. She had made her home with her daughter. Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Reese, one brother, T. E. Campbell of Garvin, Oklahoma, sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Flat Rock Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at the Flat Rock Methodist Church, December 2nd at 2 p.m. at 2 p.m. with Rev. Willis LeGrand of Calico Rock and Deaconess Miss Mary Chaffin of St. Paul Arkansas officiating.
Casket bearers were: Clyde Harber, Arthur Byram, Ossie Sherrill, Jess Kidd, Wallace Kidd and Ed Campbell. Interment was made in Flat Rock Cemetery under direction of the Hall Funeral Service.
