Timothy Osborne was born on September 13, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas the 8th of 8 children of Mrs. Anne Osborne. He was a graduate of Batesville High School and he attended Arkansas/Lyon College of Batesville. He was a journeyman carpenter, a hog farmer, an avid sports enthusiast and played basketball for 3 years at Arkansas/Lyon College and was a member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Batesville.
Survivors include his mother, Anne Osborne of Batesville; two sons, Terrance Bly Osborne of Memphis, TN and Tyler Osborne of Batesville; three brothers, Ralph Grant of Batesville, Charles Grant of Midwest City, OK and Michael Grant of Prince William, VA; four sisters, LouAnne George of Batesville, Cynthia Holt and Louise Jacobs both of Plano, TX and Jacquelyn V. Earls of Batesville; six grandchildren, D'juan Osborne of Enid, OK, Trina, Tamara, Trey and Tye Osborne and Andrew Coleman all of Batesville; one aunt, Mrs. Willene Harper and his ex-wife, Tammy Osborne.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bly and Viola Lexion Osborne.
Services are Monday, December 22, 11:00 a.m., at the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Batesville with Rev. Tom Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers are Ralph Grant, Charles Grant, Michael Grant, Ben Earls, Jr., Brian Earls and Charles Lynn Grant.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael C. Grant, Raymond Grant, Kevin Grant, Tim R. Grant, Joe Holt, Jr., Roderick Jacobs, Kelton George and all of his other nephews.
Visitation is Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m.
