Almalee Wood, age 88, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011. She was born January 5, 1923, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, a daughter of Stephen Andrew Akins and Annie Pearl Dodd Akins. She was the widow of Samuel M. Wood, a homemaker and member of the Perryville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Wood and wife Jennie of North Little Rock, and Roger Dale Wood of Perryville; two daughters, Linda Sue Kyzer and husband Ed of Perryville, and Rita Gail Boyd and husband Danny of Houston; six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three children, Sandra Lee Wood, Samuel Andrew Wood, and Wayne Stephen Wood.
