Annie Iela Agness May of Wild Cherry, daughter of the late George Washinton Columbus and Sara Cathering Elder Williamson, died at the Medical Center in Calico Rock on February 2 at the age of 86. She was a member of the Wild Cherry Methodist Church.
She was married to Shelby R May on September 12, 1926 in Bexar and had two sons.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald May of Viola and Ken May Bexar and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Services were held Monday February 4, at the Methodis Church in Wild Cherry, with Loye Vern Mason officiating. Pallbearers were Wayne Fountain, Don Morgan, John May, Eldon May, Eugene Sullivan and Neil Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Euen Sullins, Coiny Shelton, Nelson Langston, Roy Mitchell and Forrest Knapp. Interment was at Wild Cherry Cemetery.
