James M and Mary B Laymon married about 1854 and came to Washington Co from Jackson Co, Indiana around 1878-79. Children in birth order were James H; Elizabeth; Hugh; and Robert.

Sep. 26, 1830 Pennsylvania - Jul. 6, 1904 Washington Co Ar
Some census reports show that Mary was born in PA and others in Indiana. She and James M were the parents of James H; Elizabeth; Hugh and Robert.
