Married Isophene F. "Icie" Vowell, October 26, 1893, Izard County, Arkansas.

Henry B. Langston

Henry Benjamin Langston was born April 10, 1872 and passed away at his home November 28, 1955.

On October 26, 1894 he was married to Josophene Vowel and to this union eight children were born, a son, Sherman and a daughter, Ada preceded him in death.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence of Calico Rock, J. W. of Tulsa and Nethel of Cushing, Okla.; three daughters, Zella Custis of Tulsa, Mrs. D. C. Chadwick and Mrs. G. W. McCrackin both of Cushing; two sisters, Miss Polly Langston and Miss Nannie Langston both of Calico Rock.

He united with the First Methodist Church early in life and lived a devout Christian life.

Services were conducted by Rev. S. A. Sublett and the pall bearers were Shelby King, Earl King, Newt Caples, Victor Harber, Charles Hicks and T. M. Knowles.

(Note: Obituary indicates that he married Josephine Vowell on October 26, 1894; however, Izard County Marriage records show that he married Icie Vowell on October 26, 1893. The double gravestone also shows his wife's name as Icie.)
