Eva Jean Ida Belle Hurley passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Wagoner, OK at the age of 98 years. She was born November 19, 1911 in Batavia, AR to Manuel Lee and Sara Caldonia Ford Gibbs.

She married Berry Loyce Hurley on October 24, 1930 in Leslie, AR, where she lived until she moved to Wagoner, OK to be near her daughter due to failing health. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Leslie, AR and of the Eastern Star. She worked at a drug store in Tulsa and enjoyed reading, working outside and canning vegetables from her large garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Berry Loyce Hurley, one son, four brothers and one sister.

One daughter, Beverly Lee and husband M.F. of Wagoner, OK, two grandsons and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, survive her.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM, Monday, July 19, 2010 in the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, OK with the Reverend Cindy Mayes, her granddaughter-in-law, officiating. This service will be under the direction of the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held under the direction of Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, AR at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in the Elberta Cemetery in Leslie, AR.
