HARRISBURG -- Mrs. Mildred E. Dunn Hunt, 91, of Harrisburg, died Sunday, July 15, 2007. She was born March 26, 1916, in Memphis. Mrs. Hunt was a member of First Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hunt; an infant son; parents, Esdell Dewitt and Lula Kate Pugh Dunn; and sisters, Frances Graddy and Sally Thurmund. Survivors include two sons, Johnny Hunt and wife Ruby of Harrisburg and Paul Hunt and wife Peggy of Brookland; daughter, Shirley Volner and husband Billy of Harrisburg; brother, Tom Dunn of Cordova, Tenn.; three sisters, Margaret Holliday of Harrisburg, Betty Galster of Evansville, Ind., and Patsy Rollin of Norman, Okla.; eight grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel at Harrisburg with the Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family has requested donations be made to St. Bernard Hospice Care or Bethel Cemetery (First National Bank of Harrisburg). Arrangements by Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.
