SHERIDAN — Leona Evelyn Forster, 86, of Sheridan, died Friday in Little Rock.
She was born Aug. 20, 1919, at Belfast, a daughter of William Ode Campbell and Laurena Mae Campbell Morrison. She attended the Little Creek Community School and the Palestine Community School in Grant County.
She and her husband, the late Henry Forster, operated a dairy farm in the Belfast/Corinth community in the 1930s and 1940s. They later owned and operated the Coffee Shop Cafe in the Wilson/Posey Hotel in Sheridan in the 1950s. She was retired from West Bend in Sheridan. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Pearly Pauline Morrison and Odie Lee Manning; and a stepson, Edwin Forster. She is survived by one stepson, Henry Forster Jr. of Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Redfield Road at Sheridan with the Revs. Ron Ballard and Dennis Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan and under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
