Mrs. Mabel Arnold, 85, of 229 Walnut, died Saturday morning in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Proctors Chapel. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Prescott under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home. Until her illness, Mrs. Arnold was an active member of the Church of Christ of Cullendale. She is survived by one son, Loyd Arnold of Gurdon; four daughters, Mrs. Christine Garner of Camden, Mrs. Clara Garner of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Hazel Brown of Prescott and Mrs. Janeatte Gohee of North Little Rock, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
