Ineth Thera Pearson, age 86 of Dardanelle, died Friday, June 14, 2002 at her home. Mrs. Pearson was born December 23, 1915 in Bellview, Arkansas to the late Rufus Arnold and Gertrude Green Young. She was a homemaker, a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, attended South New Hope Assembly of God Church and a member of the Easter Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil A. Pearson; an infant daughter, Nancy Pearson; and a sister, Maxine Hunter.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-laws, Dr. Ray A. and Michelle Pearson of Harrison, Dr. Russell W. and Kathy Pearson of Russellville; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Laura and Dick Story of Little Rock, Sue and Joe Breashears of Searcy; two brothers, Rev. C. R. Young of Dardanelle, Cleta Young of Texarkana, AR; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services were Monday, June 17, 2002, Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Rev. Stephen P. Davis officiating. Interment was in McGhee Cemetery, Perry by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle. Pallbearers were Dr. Rex DeLaune, Douglas Story, Mark Breashears, Jeremy Pearson, Billy Estes, and Greg Wire. Honorary pallbearers were Charles H. Pearson and Dr. William Gibbs.
