Vida Robinson, 93, whose son, Shelby Robinson and wife, Teressa, reside in Lamar, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008.
She was a daughter of the late J. R. and Kathryn Wade Whitfield, widow of Opal Robinson, member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by one daughter; two granddaughters; and one grandson.
She is survived by two other sons, Bobby Robinson and wife, Pat, of Hartford and Stanley Robinson and wife, Johnice, of Farmersville; five daughters, Juanita Jeffers and husband, Bobby, of Cottonport, La., Verna Mae Westcott and Imogene Westcott and husband, Waymon, all of Tulsa, Okla., Louise Terry of Dinuba, Calif., and Faye Parker and husband, Ronald, of Hurst, Texas; one sister, Virginia Taylor of Dardanelle; 17 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville with Rev. Eddie Rogers officiating.
Burial was at the Fitch Cemetery in Casa under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Ricky Westcott, Doug Robinson, Michael Parker, Brent Robinson, David Willis and Rusty Evans.
