SHERIDAN — Edith Elois Lowery Freeman, 83, of Sheridan, died Friday, at Saline Hospital at Benton. She was born at Saw Mill Camp near Fordyce on Sept. 19, 1922, a daughter of the late C C and Myrtle Massey Lowery. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Freeman (married 4 Jan 1941); son, William Boyd Freeman; and brothers, Paul and Dewitt Lowery. Survivors include sons, Raymond Freeman of Sheridan; Cletis Freeman of Conway; sister, Jewell Dean King of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and, daughter-in-law and caregiver, Mary Ann Freeman of Sheridan.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at Sheridan with the Rev Shawn Hill and the Rev Ron Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens cemetery.
