SHERIDAN -- Wanda Mae Burnett Wilkerson, 69, of Sheridan, died Sunday at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1934, at London, Ky., a daughter of the late E.C. Burnett and Ethel Owens Burnett. She was a Wal-Mart greeter and a homemaker. She was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of AARP and Grant County Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Burnett; and a sister, Kathleen Coffey.
Survivors include two daughters, Christina Hinson of East End (Grant County) and Michelle Graves of Russellville ; two brothers, E.C. Burnett Jr. of London and Wayne Burnett of Indiana; three sisters, Faye Thieneman and Helen Sizemore, both of Louisville, Ky., and Alma Spears of Ohio; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan with the Rev. Kenneth Click officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan. Funeral arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 1403 West Center, Sheridan, AR 72150.
