SHERIDAN — Howard L. Clement, 90, of Sheridan, died Tuesday at Hot Spring County Hospital at Malvern. He was born Jan. 5, 1915, at Booneville, Miss., a son of the late William Arthur Clement and Anna Frances Barnes Clement. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a retired security guard from Kohler Company at Sheridan. He was a member of First Assembly of God. Survivors include his wife, Mittie Corinne McGuire Clement (married 15 Jul 1936); two sons, Howard Russell Clement of Meadville, Miss., and Myles Woodrow Clement of Sheridan; three daughters, Sue Carol Walter of Vicksburg, Miss., and Vivian Purifoy and Lillian Vanlandingham, both of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan with Casey Clement and the Rev. Jimmy Bobo officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at Sheridan.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Heart Association at Little Rock.
