Willa V Hooper Whiley of Hot Springs died July 9, 2007, in a local hospital. She was 76 years old. She was born June 14, 1931, at Hollis, Ark., to the late Elder George M. Hooper and Gay Hawks Hooper.

Mrs. Whiley was a member of Cedar Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons Phillip Whiley and his wife, Carol; Keith Whiley and his wife, Kathy; Kenneth Whiley and his wife, Robin and David Whiley, all of Hot Springs; daughters Phyllis Crain and her husband, Junior, of Hollis, Ark., Betty Ault and her husband, Russell; Mary Culpepper and her husband, Scott; brother J.D. Hooper and his wife, Lois, also of Hot Springs.

Also grandchildren Tena Brown and her husband, Travis; Chad Crain and his wife, Millicent; Jeremy Whiley and his wife, Amanda; Justin Whiley and his wife, Mandy; Subrena Morris and her husband, Mike; Adam Ault, Angela Parton and Brad Whiley and his wife Lacie; great-grandchildren Kristen Brown, Gabe Parton, Luke Graves, Jackson Crain, and Kamryn Whiley.

Funeral service was July 12 at Caruth Village Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Dale Johnson officiating. Interment was at Goat Bluff Cemetery in Hollis, Ark.

Pallbearers were Chad Crain, Jeremy Whiley, Adam Ault, Justin Whiley, Brad Whiley, and Jeff Hooper. Honorary pallbearers were members of Cedar Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.

The family would like to express our appreciation to all of those who provided healthcare services to our loved one.
