Etta Lee (Nana) Harrison Youngblood, 88 of Mtn. View died on December 25, 2009.
Etta was born October 1, 1921 in Ozona, Texas to Floyd and Georgie Harrison. She was a member of School Avenue Church of Christ in Mtn. View. “Nana” was a faithful Christian and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She always greeted you with a hug.
She is survived by one brother, Floyd (Jr.) Harrison and his wife Dorothy of Brackettville, Texas, one daughter Leann White and her husband Tony Joe of Franklin, Tennessee; three grandchildren Jim Bob White and his wife Rhonda of Turkey Creek, Michelle White of Los Angeles, California and Jody White and wife Meg of Nashville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren Brody White of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas and Josephine Fite of Los Angeles, California, many other friends including special friends Steve and Becky Arender and Reba Bradley, many nephews and one special niece Sheila Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband J. R. (Bob) Youngblood and one great-grandson, James Joe-Dodd White.
Visitation is 5 – 7 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2009 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at School Avenue Church of Christ, Mtn. View with Bro. Frank Curtis officiating and interment in Finch Cemetery, Turkey Creek Community, Mountain View.
Pallbearers are Tommy Cleveland, Charles Ramsey, Steve Arender, Roger Hipp, John Dan Kemp and Bill Giberson.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mountain View is in charge of the arrangements.
