Leonard Josh Weaver, age 84 of Plainview, entered heaven on August 5, 2008. He was born on February 25, 1924 to Charlie and Martha (Furr) Weaver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Charles; four brothers and five sisters. Leonard is survived by his wife Pauline of 63 years; four daughters and spouses, Helen and Herbert Jones of Hollis, Anna Williams of Hot Springs Village, Meredith and Phillip Young of Plainview and Barbara and James Westlake of Plainview; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Joe Phillips of Hot Springs; and a host of friends and extended family who will all miss him dearly. Leonard retired from the timber industry at the age of 62 but his love for the woods brought him out of retirement until the age of 81. He was a true outdoorsman who also loved hunting and fishing and serving the Lord. Friends and family were Leonards greatest joys in life. He never met a stranger. He was a founding member of the Plainview Jesus Name Church where he enjoyed many hours of singing and praising the Lord with his banjo and guitar.

Funeral service was held August 8, 2008 at Plainview Jesus Name Pentecostal Church, with Bro. Stacy Lisenbey officiating. Burial was at Hawks Cemetery in Hollis. Pallbearers included Brad Jones, Josh Smith, Jesse Haston, Jesse Palmer, John Walker and Bud Potts. Honorary pallbearers included Mike Jones, Doug Moats, Lloyd Speers, Rev. Bill Davis, Len Davis, Gene Humphreys, John Blankenship, Bill Watson, Ken Coker, Doyle Glass and men of the Plainview Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. Arrangement by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville. Pauline Weaver, age 80, of Plainview, AR died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at her home. She was born January 18, 1930 in Hollis, AR to the late Arthur and Annie Moss Humphreys. She was a retired beautician and was a founding member of the Plainview Jesus Name Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years Leonard Josh Weaver; infant son Charles Weaver; sister Ovie Martin and brothers, Bill, Sam, Richard and James Humphreys.

Survivors include daughters and spouses, Helen & Herbert Jones of Hollis, Anna Williams of Hot Springs, Meredith & Phillip Young and Barbara & James Westlake all of Plainview; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Ann Humphreys of Hollis; sisters-in-law, Lurlene Humphreys and Inez Dickson both of Hollis; 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service was March 26, 2020 al Plainview Jesus Name Pentecostal Church with Bro. Stacy Lisenbey officiating. Burial was in Hawks Cemetery in Hollis, AR. Pallbearers were Josh & Hunter Smith, Cameron Spencer, Lane & Kyle Frost. Jess Jones, Joseph Leiva, Brady Shipman and Tristen Rudder. Honorary were Mike & Brad Jones, Dustin Robberson, Jeffery Lieva, Paula Robberson, Kay Shipman, Allison Young, Robin Smith, Cindy Leiva, Kerry Frost, Michelle Rudder, Amanda Williams and Santana Hood.
