New Orleans - Mr. Winfrey M. Snider, 53, of Route 2, Junction City, Ark. died Thursday in a New Orleans hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Veo Green and the Rev. William Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Mr. Snider was born Aug. 9, 1921, the son of J. A. and Ivy Smith Snider. He was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow. Annes Lewis Snider, of Junction City; one daughter, Kay Elizabeth Jones, of Little Rock; one brother, Clarence D. Snider, of Junction City, and one grandchild. Pallbearers are John R. Wright, Perry Risinger, Gip Roberson, Jr., Mike Gunnells, Troy Braswell, James Cook, Hays Cottrell, and Marvin Park. (El Dorado News-Times - November 23, 1974)
