Jewell Faye Crowson Sexton, age 86, of Perryville, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008. She was born August 26, 1922 in Dierks, Arkansas, a daughter of Joseph Crowson and Maude Taylor Crowson. She was the widow of Everett Olen Sexton, Sr., a homemaker, and member of Thornburg Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Joe Sexton and wife Nancy of Hensley; daughters, Diedra Corder and husband Bob of Perryville, and Teri Garrett and husband Gary of Hot Springs Village; brother, Lee Crowson of Miles Wyoming; daughter-in-law, Sandra Sexton of Claremore Oklahoma; aunt, Connie Pickett of Locksburg; eight grandchildren, one adopted granddaughter, Teresa Grayson, and thirteen great-grand children. Other than her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters, a son, Everett Sexton, Jr., and a great-grandson, Jenson Roberts.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, at Thornburg Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Corder and Bro. Tom Stover officiating. Burial will be at Thornburg Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, at the funeral home in Perryville.
