Helen Lee Rankin Magie, age 88, of Perryville, Arkansas, a gentle soul, loving wife, and mother passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She was the widow of Paul Web Magie and a member of Perryville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Jan Magie of Perryville, and Sandy Magie of Houston, Texas; sister, Artie Mae Clay of Adona.
The family would like to thank the Perry County Nursing Home and staff for four years of devoted care.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at Nimrod Cemetery with Rev. Msgr. Donald F. Zimmerman officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Paul Web Magie, age 89, of Perryville, passed away, Monday, November 9, 2009. He was born November 19, 1920 in Nimrod, Arkansas, a son of Hollis Magie and Josie Howard Magie. He was a proud Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Deacon and member of Perryville First Baptist Church, Service Manager for Meredith Motors Lincoln Mercury in Hot Springs and worked for the forest service in Perry County.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Lee Rankin Magie of Perryville; daughters, Jan Magie of Perryville and Sandy Magie of Houston, Texas; sisters, Carmen Anderson of Perryville and Ida Umphers of Little Rock.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11th, at Nimrod Cemetery with Dr. Mike Stanley and Rev. Don Zimmerman officiating. The family would also like to express a special thank you to the staff at Perry County Nursing Center in Perryville. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
