Jack's parents were Jim and Pearl R. Marlin. Carol the daughter of Hershell and Florence Nannie.
Obituary:
Carol J. Marlin, 66, of Centerton, formerly of Black Rock, died April 23, 2009.
Born Sept. 15, 1942, in Detroit, she was a factory worker and was of the Catholic belief. She moved to Arkansas in 1967.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack P. Marlin, whom she married Oct. 27, 1961; and her parents, Hershell and Florence Nannie.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosezita Morrison and husband Bobby, Centerton, and Melissa Marlin-Sanders, Hoxie; a sister in Michigan; and three grandchildren, Savannah Morrison, Ethan Sanders and Shyloh Sanders.
Funeral was Sunday at 2 p.m. in Higginbotham Chapel with Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Burial was in Kelly Cemetery at Black Rock under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were Octavius Smith, Donald Sanders, William Kerwin, Jim Matkins, Chip Lore and Tommy Etter.
