Mrs. Lydia Drown Dies
Mrs. Lydia Drown, another of this section's oldest citizens has been called by death, passing away at her home one mile north of Pineville last Tuesday, after several days illness.
Burial took place at Wise's Chapel cemetery Wednesday, the funeral being conducted by Eld. D. A. Hively, a large number of friends and relatives.
Deceased spent nearly all her life in this county, coming to this county when quite young. She was a devout Christian. Her husband preceded her in death by nearly two years. She is survived by one son, J. F. Drown, of Pineville and a daughter who resides in Oklahoma.
