Daughter of M. Jasper Johnson & Mary Jane Johnson.

Mrs. Burton Dead
Mrs. Mae Johnson Burton aged 48, wife of Rev. M. C. Burton of Pineville died in a Little Rock hospital Monday, Feb 8.
She was taken to the hospital several days ago and underwent an operation on Thursday of last week.
She was a highly respected woman and her death was a shock to all who knew her. She had been a member of the Baptist Church for 27 years.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Ruby and Ada Mae; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Bradford of West Plains, Mo., Mrs. Clarence Benson of Slater, Mo., three brothers, W. L. Johnson of Slater, Mo., Richard and John E. Johnson of Iowa.
Interment was at Cross Roads Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon, funeral services being by Rev. Y. Whitfield of Pineville and Rev. D. E. Steeley of Calico Rock.
