NORTH LITTLE ROCK--Viola Ellen Killian of Calico Rock died Wednesday (July 10, 1996). She was 82.
Mrs. Killian was born Jan. 23, 1914, to Edwin and Ida Bergtorf Schulz of Calico Rock. She married Roy H. Killian. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Killian of Mountain Home and Roy Killian of Wideman, Ark.; two daughters, Peggy Hall of Little Rock and Ida Ann Duggins of Sherwood, Ark.; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Killian of Widemam; one brother, George Schulz of Mountain View, Mo.; three sisters, Geneva Link of Maxwell, Iowa, Dorothy Killian of Pineville, Ark., and Lydia Meyers of Sak City, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, two brothers and one sister.
Service will be a 2 p.m. today at the Assembly of God Church in Calico Rock with Brother Tom Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Pineville Cemetery in Pineville under the direction of Howard Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Raymond Owens, Charles Jones, Vic Stanley, Ken Owens, Orville Jeff, and John Garner. Her nephews will be honorary pallbearers.
