Joseph "Ed" Burke, 87, of Perryville died Wednesday May 31, 1995.
He was born Feb. 13, 1908, near Nimrod, a son of Sampson Edward Burke and Alice (Divine) Burke.
Mr. Burke was a school bus driver, a farmer and was am Army World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Evaline Wiles Burke; one son, Leon Burke of Perryville; one sister, Lillian Moore of Hermiston, Oregon; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cherry Hill Community Building by Brother Sonny Stone.
Burial was at Cherry Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville.
Pallbearers were Bobby Glover, Richard Yarberry, Arvie Wiles, George Harris, Billy Lee Wyles, and Paul Ray Wyles.
