Evaline Wiles Burke, 88, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013. She was born September 8, 1925 at Union Valley, Arkansas, to the late William "Bud" Wiles and Rosie Chapman Wiles. She was the widow of Joseph Edward Burke, a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son, Leon Burke and wife Betty of Perryville; one granddaughter, Shirley Schwartz of Perryville; three great-grandchildren, Steven Morehead, Lacy LaCook and Anthony Morehead; five great-great- grandchildren all of Perryville; one sister, Lillie Yarberry and husband Edward of Mablevale; she was preceded in death by two brothers, Banard Wiles and Billy Ray Wyles; and one sister, Velvie Rorie.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20th at Cherry Hill Community Building with Rev. Sonny Stone officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 19th at the funeral home in Perryville.
