Lois Lee Wehrer, 91, of Calico Rock, Ark., died March 1, 2008, at White River Healthcare in Calico Rock, Ark. She was born in Kansas City, Kan., on Jan. 2, 1917, the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Young) Everhardt.

She was united in marriage to Ralph K. Wehrer on Oct. 8, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan.

She was a homemaker, a member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of the Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church in Horseshoe Bend.

She is survived by: an adopted daughter, Karen Bieber (Carl) of Fort Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kevin Hrzenak, Denise Lunsford, Danielle Ryea and Deborah Krzenak; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two sisters, Helen Hughey of Dallas, Texas and Margaret Spandle of Kansas City, Kan.

Funeral services were held at the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel in Horseshoe Bend March 5 with Rev. Gary Goldman officiating. Interment was in the Violet Hill Cemetery at Violet Hill, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
