William Thurl Lewis, 69, of Camden, died Monday in a local nursing home. He was a meber of the Assembly of God Church, and for the past 50 years had served as roadmaster with Reader Railroad, retiring two years ago. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Bluff City Cemetery. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice Fullerton Lewis; one son, Billy Lee Lewis of Stephens; two daughters, Mrs. Vernie Smith and Mrs. Connie Wheelington, both of Camden; four sisters, Mrs. Purvis Williams, Mrs. Jewell Wicker and Mrs. Ray Crouse, all of Prescott; and Mrs. Joe Turner of Camden; four brothers, Thurmon Lewis of Bluff City, Thorgen, Vernon and Aubrey Lewis, all of Prescott; nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
