Freda Elma Lambert, 78, of Alma, formerly of Prescott, died Friday, March 1, 1996, in Sparks Reginal Hospital in Fort Smith.
Born March 10, 1917, in Smackover, she was the daughter of the late Caleb and Willie Ross. She was a retired nurse of Hillcrest Care Center and a member of New Hope Community Church in Prescott.
Survivors include her husband, M.L. `Bill' Lambert of Alma; a son, Charles Lambert of Alma; a stepson, Emmet Lambert of Holly Bluff, Miss.; a daughter, Pam Greer of Hensley; a stepdaughter, Mary French of Hensley; two sisters, Vera Sparks of Sidney, Neb., and Juanita Conner of Kilgore, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Services were held Sun., Mar. 3, at New Hope Community Church with Bro. Mike Franklin and Bro. Shawn Shelton officiating. Burial was in Bluff City Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. (Nevada County Picayune - March 6, 1966)
