Mrs. Laura Peterson Garmany, aged 87 of Cullendale died in the Ouachita County Hospital at 7:00 a.m. Monday. Mrs. Garmany was born in Dallas County, Arkansas, but lived most of her life in Ouachita County. She was the widow of C. A. Garmany, and was a member of the Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Milton A. Garmany, and G. T. "Jack" Garmany both of Camden; five daughters, Mrs. Christine Tutt, Mrs. Rosie McKay, Mrs. Elloweise Williams, and Mrs. Edith Lusby all of Camden, and Mrs. Dessie Milner of Pine Bluff; one brother, Joseph Peterson of Camden; 30 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church on Tate Street. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery by Proctor Funeral Service. The body will be taken to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harlon Lusby at 2348 Fearing St. this afternoon to lie in state until funeral time. (Camden News - November 8, 1965)
