Mrs. Lula DeWoody Bradley, aged 69, wife of Jessie Bradley of Camden, died Wednesday morning of an apparent heart attack at White Oak Lake. She was born at Sayre community near Reader and had lived in Camden since 1941. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camden and a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Other survivors include a son, William R. (Bill) Bradley of Magnolia; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtis Clingan of Chidester and Mrs. Mabel Giles of Cotton Valley, La.; a brother, William R. DeWoody of Temple, Tex.; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Camden with the Rev. H. R. Nabors and the Rev. David Tate officiating. Burial was in Bluff City Cemetery under the direction of Forbis Funeral Home. (Ccamden News - March 28, 1963)
