Mrs. Sue (Thompson) Bates, age 64, of Ash Flat, Ark., died Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at Hospice House in Mountain Home, Ark. Mrs. Bates was former owner of Sue Bates Advertising.
She was the daughter of the late Thad Thompson and the late Hazel Sanford.
Survived by her husband Roger C Bates; Daughter Frankie Smith of Mammoth Sprins, Ark. Son John Michael Bates of Ash Flat, Ark.
Sisters Evelyand West of Marion, Ark. Phillis Cowan of Melbourn, Ark. Gayle Watlington of Williford, Ark. Joy Hudspeth of Dallas, Texas
Brother Dale Thompson of Velvet Ridge, Ark, Larry Thompson of Arkansas Donald Thompson of Ash Flat, Ark.
Funeral service will be at Heath Oak Hill Chapel at 2:00 PM Friday, Bro. Freeling Clower and Bro. Van Brown officiating. Interment will be at Ash Flat Cemetery in Ash Flat, Ark.
