TULARE, Calif. — Jessie S. Carson, 90, died Oct, 24, 1999. She was born in Fayetteville. She had been a resident of Tulare for 60 years.
She was a 1931 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in education and science and was a loan officer for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Women's Club, First Baptist Church, the District Hospital Pink Ladies for 25 years, the AARP, the Senior Citizen organization, the Republican Women's Club, all in Tulare and the Cadabouts of Visalia, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Carson.
Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Bridenphal of North Little Rock and Eliene Morrison of Fayetteville.
Memorial services will be in 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Peers Lorentzen Funeral Home in Tulare.
