Roy Ladell Dixon, age 67, of Bigelow, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012. He was born June 13, 1944 near Bigelow, Arkansas, a son of the late Sherman Edison Dixon and Sarah Floice Atkinson Dixon. He was the widower of Fleeta Powell Dixon, a retired mechanic, and a member of Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church.
He is survived by his step-sons, Barry and Allen Stane both of Bigelow; brothers, Arles, Tolbert, Jimmy and Carl Dixon all of Bigelow; three grandchildren, Jacob, Gracie and Maggie Stane; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, at the Harris Chapel with Billy Zulpo officiating. Burial will be at May Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the funeral home.
