Alice Williams
(July 31, 1933 - February 28, 2011)
Alice Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 28, 2011. She was born on July 31, 1933, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father, James Kirby; mother, Rose Ella Kirby; and brother, Billy Lankford. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Thomas Williams, and five sons, Robin of Bismarck; Wren and wife Joy of Hot Springs; Lark and wife Chris of Royal; Jay and wife Rachel of Prescott Valley, Arizona; and Martin of Hot Springs. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Charity, Isaac, Glorianna, Sophia, Olivia, and David Williams. Also surviving are sisters Bobbie Johnson, Patsy Britton, and brother J.C. Kirby. Alice loved to reflect over her life of blessings by the number 7, starting with receiving the Holy Ghost at the age of 7 until her going to meet the Lord peacefully in her sleep at 77 years and 7 months of age. All who knew her, knew her by her bright smile, twinkly eyes, love for life, and love for the Lord who she lived for with all her heart. We, her family, will miss her tremendously but are consoled in knowing it was the Lord's perfect timing, that we have no regrets in our relationships and that we all will be reunited some glorious day. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 9:00 Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Sharpe and Bro. J.C. Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
