Clyda Bartley, age 90 of Mt Vernon died July 1, 2004. She was born in Mt. Vernon, December 31, 1913 to the late Robert Lee and Stella Catherine Malcomb Lacewell. She was predeceased by her husband; Rueben Eugene Bartley, by sisters: Jewel Breeding of Indiana, Lillie Lacewell and Elise Lacewell Gray of Mt. Vernon. She is survived by three sons: Maurice Bartley of Memphis Tennessee, Horace Bartley and wife Patricia of Mt. Vernon and Loyce Bartley of Mt. Vernon, by four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; by four brothers: T.M. Lacewell of Mt Vernon, Hardy Lacewell of Peoria, Illinois, Houston Lacewell of California, and Alex Lacewell of Illinois, and a sister: Robbie Keizer of Illinois.
