February 9, 1887 - November 1, 1972
Jessie Lide Burton, 85, of Louann, died in the Ouachita Hospital, Wednesday. He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one son, Obie Burton of Louann; two sisters, Mrs. B. Perry and Mrs. Ludie Wilson, both of Athens, Tex., two brothers, C. R. and Jess Burton of Camden; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Bethesda Church Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery by Camden Funeral Service. (Camden News - November 2, 1972)
