Raymond Leon Ratliff the son of Charlie and Lottie (Cook) Allison. Catherine Jean (Ratliff) Allison the daughter of Jay W and Jenny (Wilson) Ratliff.

Raymond Leon Allison, 84, of Walnut Ridge, died Sept. 2, 2007, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

He was the son of Charlie and Lottie Cook Allison and was a lifetime resident of Lawrence County. He was retired from maintenance at Williams Baptist College.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Boothe.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jean Ratliff Allison; a son, Tim Allison and wife Otella, Paragould; two grandchildren, Renee Allison and Tim Allison II; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Tuesday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Don House officiating. Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Wendell Jones, Steven Allison, Tim Allison II, Tony Nelson, Tim Allison and Dewayne Crouse.

Walnut Ridge-Jean Kathrine Allison, 83 passed away Tuesday at Paragould. She was born June 17, 1927 in Sitka, Arkansas to J.W. and Jenny Wilson Ratliff. She had lived in Lawrence County most of her life and retired from Lawrence Memorial Hospital as a cook. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Allison; parents; J.W. and Jenny Wilson Ratliff; brothers, Everett and Waldo Ratliff.

She is survived by one son, Tim Allison and wife Otella of Paragould; two grandchildren, Tim Allison and wife April of Portia and Renee Nelson of Conway; two great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Weslie Allison.

Funeral Services were 1:00 p.m., Thursday at House Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Don House officiating. Burial will followed in Lawrence Memorial Park.

Visitation was one hour prior to service.

Pallbearers: Dane Adams, Mark Hatfield, Mack Westbrook, Greg Gill, Wendell Jones and Ed Doman.

Honorary Pallbearer: Weslie Allison
