Mr Willie Bell Passes Away
The people of this community were o'ershadowed with grief and sadness when the death angel visited our community and took for its victim Mr. Willie Bell. He was born April 26th, 1858 and departed this life Jan 30, 1925. He as a member of the Locust Grove Baptist church, a true Christian, an honest and upright citzen. Mr Bell will be sadly missed in the home, the church and community. He leaves to mourn his departure a wife, mother, daughter, a brother and sister, and a host of other relatives and friends. But there is a consoling hope of meeting in eternity where there will be no more parting. All was done that loving hands could do but to no avail. He suffered only a few days when God relieved him of his suffering. His body was laid to rest in the Locust Grove cemetery by the Odd Fellows Lodge. Funeral services conducted by Bro Baity.
