Mrs. Nancy Rebecca Fagala, 94, lifetime resident of Cave Springs, died Jan. 15 in Bates Memorial Hospital, Bentonville. Born Nov. 14, 1881, near Osage Mills, she was the daughter of John Harvey and Barbara Phillips Murdock, Northwest Arkansas pioneers. She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church and her mother was a charter member of the church founded in 1880.
Survivors include three sons, Olen E. Fagala, Eldridge E. Fagala and Paul Fagala, Cave Springs; two brothers, John Murdock and Charlie Murdock, Cave Springs; one sister, Mrs. Vesta Wallace, Cave Springs; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Cave Springs, with the Rev. J.N. Farish officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
