Mary Ellen Jenkins, age 90, of Jordan, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 26, 1920 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Oliver Russell and Mary Frances (Lackey) Dickerson.
Mrs. Jenkins married William "Bill" Jenkins in 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a nephew: Jarl Dickerson and wife Phyllis of Dolph, Arkansas and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son: George Henry Nelson, four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 at Galatia Cemetery of Norfork, Arkansas with Reverend Wayne Wood officiating.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
