Graveside Services for Michael Lorne Rosson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery, with Pastor Karen Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, January 31, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
He died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his residence, at the age of 43. Michael was born September 28, 1967 in Springdale, AR, the son of Elmer H. and Linda Sue Chapman Rosson. He married Tonya Bunch on August 15, 2000 at Batesville, Arkansas. Michael graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Horse Husbandry. He worked as a General Laboror.
Michael is survived by wife, Tonya Rosson, son, Jeffery C. Rosson of Mountain Home, AR; 2 daughters, Maggie S. Rosson of West Plains, MO, Katelyn C. Rosson of Batesville, AR; father, Elmer (Louise) Rosson, of Mountain Home, AR, sister, Minnie I. (Kent) Turner, of Mountain Home, AR.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Burial will be in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery with Chris Brim, Brady Rorie, Mike Davis, David Rosson, Jr. James Rosson, Rusty Rosson, and Travis Turner as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Rosson, Butch Brim, Johnny Chapman, Spike Parnell, Kyle McCutcheon, Glen Chapman, Jr., Steven Rosson, Jr., and James Wells.
Memorials may be made to the to the Rosson family, c/o First National Bank of Mountain Home.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
